What Is A Paradigm? Paradigms (para-dime') are the maps to your way of doing things, to your mind, heart, attitudes, and behaviors. The way you see your paradigm leads to what you do. Therefore, what you do leads to the results that you receive in life. One definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things and expect different results. It is amazing to see how people want change in their lives; however, they keep doing the same routine day after day only increasing frustration and stress. If you want change in your life, you have got to be different. You have to realize that change starts from the inside out. You begin this change by examining and changing your paradigm or the map to your mind. It is amazing the growth that you will experience only if you are open-minded enough to change your paradigm and look at things differently in your life. This is the key to significant growth in the Wholistic Paradigm. The Wholistic Paradigm The wholistic paradigm identifies the spirit, mind, and body as the building blocks in your life. Your wholistic paradigm includes: 1. The Spiritual --- peace of mind and a higher being. 2. The Mind or Mental --- your conscious and subconscious thought processes. 3. The Body or Physical --- your health, nutrition, and physical form of existence. The fulfillment of this wholistic paradigm is directly proportional to the quality of life that you live. When your wholistic paradigm is unbalanced, they your life becomes chaotic and unbalanced. That is because each block affects each other. Therefore, the Wholistic Paradigm is one big block because it all comes from the same place. In closing, remember this. If you develop each of these three building blocks and realize that each need affects each other, then the synergy will light the spark that we all have into a forest fire of personal growth and success that you seek in life. It will put you well on your way of leading a high quality of life and will allow you to leave a legacy. I wish you well on your journey of success and excellence. The key is this. When you are traveling, make sure you are using the proper map. If you have the wrong map, having a positive attitude is not going to correct the situation. You may be happy, but you are still lost.
